Meet Holt — your buddy with a truck
The Buddy With A Truck started with a simple idea: hauling and heavy lifting shouldn't require booking a giant crew, renting equipment, or waiting a week for a callback. Sometimes you just need a dependable team with a full-size truck, an enclosed trailer, and the muscle to get it done fast.
That's Holt. He founded The Buddy With A Truck in Roanoke, Texas and spent the entire first year doing every single job himself, hands-on — earning his reputation one careful haul at a time. Now, 250+ jobs later and across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, he's grown a trusted crew, so no load is too big or too heavy: furniture and junk removal, Marketplace pickups, cleanouts, and plenty of “can you move this weird thing?” requests (yes, including a 10-foot stock tank pool).

What kinds of items do you take?
Furniture, mattresses, appliances, exercise equipment, boxes and bagged trash, cardboard, garage clutter, office furniture and more. If it fits in the truck or the enclosed trailer, it can go. Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, oils) generally can't be hauled — ask and we'll point you in the right direction.
Do you only do junk removal?
Nope — beyond junk and furniture removal, we handle heavy lifting and loading, single big or awkward items, Marketplace pickup & delivery, and full cleanouts. (We're not a full-service apartment/house mover, but if you've got a specific item or load that needs a truck, we're your crew.)
Can you handle heavy or awkward items?
Yes — heavy lifting and loading is a specialty. Dollies, straps, pads, and know-how included. From treadmills on the second floor to a 10-foot stock tank pool, we've handled it.
How soon can you come out?
Often same-week and sometimes same-day, depending on the schedule. The sooner you reach out, the sooner the truck's in your driveway — just text us and we'll find a time that works.
Do I need to help carry anything?
